Event error messages are logged in the event log when you log in 2X ApplicationServer Cloud Portal

The following Events are logged in the event log when you log in 2X ApplicationServer Cloud Portal:

SideBySideEvent ID: 32 and 59 

If when logging in 2X ApplicationServer Access Portal, the following event IDs are logged in the event log.

Event ID: 32
Description: Dependent Assembly Microsoft.VC80.MFCLOC could not be found and Last Error was The referenced assembly is not installed on your system.

Event ID: 59
Description: Resolve Partial Assembly failed for Microsoft.VC80.MFCLOC. Reference error message: The referenced assembly is not installed on your system.
Event ID: 59

Event ID: 59
Description: Generate Activation Context failed for C:\WINDOWS\WinSxS\x86_Microsoft.VC80.MFC_1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b_8.0.50727.762_x-ww_3BF8FA05\MFC80U.DLL. Reference error message: The referenced assembly is not installed on your system.

Please be aware that this problem occurs because the run-time libraries are not installed on the IIS server. The applications that use side-by-side libraries cannot run without the run-time libraries.


You'll need to install [Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable Package (x86)] [http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=32BC1BEE-A3F9-4C13-9C99-220B62A191EE&displaylang=en]

  • Please note that in order to upgrade, you must have purchased the upgrade insurance, as licenses need to be upgraded in order to work on a later build.
  • To find out what is the version you currently have installed on your ThinClientServer, please open the console and check the currently installed version from the top right of your screen.
  • To find out what is the currently installed version of your 2X Application, please open the console and navigate to help>about.
