Change password - failing

When a password is expired or a specific account is required to change the password at next logon you can change the password from the 2X ApplicationServer Client itself.
However there may be situations when you may receive the message :

"Configuration information could not be read from the domain controller, either because the machine is unavailable, or access has been denied."

A quick solution to solve this problem is to restart the Net Logon service on the Domain Controller or restart the Domain Controller itself if the first approash does not solve the problem. One can also try to use the FQDN name for the domain name reference instead of using the NETBIOS name in the domain field.
